What we do

Four services, each with a statutory clock attached to it

Finnish accounting is a calendar as much as a ledger. Each of these has deadlines set by law rather than by us, and the point of outsourcing is that they stop being your problem.

Comprehensive Bookkeeping & Financial Reporting

Ledgers kept to the Finnish Accounting Act, closed on a schedule you can plan around.

  • Double-entry bookkeeping maintained under the Accounting Act (Kirjanpitolaki 1336/1997)
  • Monthly bank, receivable and payable reconciliation
  • Monthly management reporting: profit and loss, balance sheet, and a short written commentary

Corporate Tax Strategy & EU VAT Compliance

Returns filed correctly and on time, and advice on the tax consequences before you commit.

  • VAT returns filed in MyTax on your monthly, quarterly or annual period
  • EU recapitulative statements, reverse charge and One Stop Shop registration for cross-border trade
  • Corporate income tax return (Form 6B) preparation, filing and follow-up
See what is included

Payroll Management & HR Administrative Support

Payslips, Incomes Register reports and employer filings, on the statutory clock.

  • Payslip calculation including holiday pay, absence and collective agreement terms
  • Earnings payment reports to the Incomes Register (tulorekisteri) within the statutory five days
  • Employer's separate report, withholding and social insurance contribution filings

Financial Advisory & Internal Accounts Review

A finance function you can consult, and an internal review of your own records.

  • Budgeting, forecasting and rolling cash-flow planning
  • Internal review of accounting records for completeness and consistency
  • Preparation of board and lender reporting packs

The clock you are actually working to

Finnish filing deadlines, set by law and not negotiable

These are the dates that decide whether a month is calm or expensive. Every one of them is set by an Act you can look up, which is why we cite them rather than paraphrase them. Exact dates shift for weekends and for your own financial year, and we confirm yours in writing when we take the work on.

How we work

Three commitments, and the limits on each

A written engagement before any work starts

Scope, fee, timetable and who does what, agreed in writing. We do not begin on a handshake and then send an invoice that surprises you.

The limit. An engagement proposal is valid for 30 days and is based on the material you describe. If the material turns out to be materially different, we say so and re-quote rather than absorbing it quietly.

Tax advice within the law as it stands

We will tell you the tax consequences of a decision before you make it, cite the provision we are relying on, and say plainly when a position is uncertain.

The limit. We do not market schemes, we do not promise a particular assessment, and we will not sign off a treatment we think the Tax Administration would reject.

Deadlines met, or told to you early

You get the material list for each period in advance, and a named contact who answers. If something is at risk, you hear it while there is still time to act.

The limit. Statutory deadlines depend on receiving your source material in time. We set the cut-off dates in the engagement letter so both sides know what late means.
